Al-Jamia Al-Zahra was established in 2002 by Professor Syed Ahmad Hussain Shah Tirmezi. Here at Al-Jamia Al-Zahra we aim to provide your child/children with a full Islamic academic curriculum to enable them to understand the importance and beauty of our way of life, Islam.

We currently running Arabic Classes, Urdu Classes, Islamic Studies, Hifz Classes. In addition in the future we plan to have a larger library with a wide range of resources. Important of all we provide guidance and help with all social aspects of life. With the number of students growing everyday, our success and achievement lies in your support and determination to help the new generation of Muslims in Halifax.
